My new friend

This is a new addition to the shore line in Gracetown, this jetty was built to assist the number of boats that head out of Cowaramup Bay and their occupants to move through quicker. We use to watch and laugh at all the city folk that would come down with their shiny new boats and bump and scratch them against the rocks. Ahh...those were the days.

On a cold afternoon while I was driving past, I thought I might head down to see if I could get a picture just for myself, didn't expect anything spectacular - and actually...I really don't think this one is...but I just loved the addition of the energetic yappy dog that befriended me as I was setting up my tripod to take a few shots. Messed up a lot of exposures that I took running between the legs, but finally got him on the jetty and out of my way to take a couple of shots.
